DESCRIPTION:

Our replacement filter pads are double-layered. They are white on one side, and orange on the other. The orange side faces the diamond backing of your aluminum frame and the white side faces away from the diamond plating. You may notice that there is a tacky layer on the outside of the filter pad. This helps to trap even the smallest particles out of your air, leaving the coil of your unit shiny and clean as it should be! The second layer, the orange layer is a safety net. The orange layer traps anything that may have passed the tacky and white layer. Just to be sure!

WHEN SHOULD I REPLACE MY FILTER PADS:

It is recommended to replace your filter pad once a month on average. But this depends on your lifestyle inside of your home. If you have 2 people living in your home, usually keep the doors and windows closed, and vacuum all of the time, chances are you can stretch this out a bit longer. If you have a life with a lot of motion such as children, a pet, blossoming trees, smokers, active wear and/or allergies, changing your filter 2 times per month is very common. In my house, we change our filter every 2-3 weeks regularly. A good rule of thumb is if you can see any discoloration at all on the filter after 2 weeks, its time to change it. HOW TO ORDER:

Once you have your Aluminum Lifetime Filter Frame, all you need to do is replace the pads!
